Minimum Requirements For Belt Graduation

Children's Belts
WHITE – Beginner 4 to 6 years of age
YELLOW – 7 to 15 years of age
ORANGE – 10 to 15 years of age
GREEN – 13 to 15 years of age
Children expected minimum of (2) years per belt with 4 stripes per belt.

Adult Belts
WHITE – Beginner any age
BLUE – 16 years of age or older
PURPLE – 16 years of age or older
BROWN – 18 years of age or older
BLACK – 19 years of age or older

WHITE TO BLUE- 1 Year Minimum
BLUE TO PURPLE – 2.5 Year Minimum
PURPLE TO BROWN – 2.5 Year Minimum
BROWN TO BLACK – 3 Year Minimum
