At the end of Friday class this weekend, Eddie Kone lines the class up and gives a speech on his opinions about the meanings of belt promotion. The importance of skill, integrity and importantly mat time. He explains that belts promotions are earned not given away.

At that point, Eddie Kone awards Andreas Ohlsson his blue belt for his ever progressing abilities.

During the congratulatory phase, Eddie "magic's" out a purple belt and surprises Brian Paul with his new promtion. Brian, has been training with Eddie since almost the beginning of RGDA-UK. And in his four years has not only been taught but gone on to become an assistant coach at the academy.

A massive congratulation goes to both of these for their new achievements, and all of RGDA hope your training continues to go well.
